In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a complex series of procedures used to assist with the conception of a child. It that involves retrieving eggs from Ovarian Stimulation and manually combining them with sperm in a lab for fertilization. After fertilization, the fertilized egg (now called an embryo) is placed inside a uterus

Steps of IVF Treatment:
1.Ovarian Stimulation :Drugs are prescribed to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs. This process usually takes about 8-14 days. Ultrasounds monitor the development of the ovarian follicles.
2.Egg Retrieval: Once the eggs are mature, a minor surgical procedure called follicular aspiration is performed to retrieve the eggs from the ovaries. This is typically done under sedation or anesthesia. Time to coincide with ovulation, usually 34-36 hours after a trigger shot (human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG) is given.
3.Sperm Collection and Preparation: Sperm sample is collected from the male partner or a sperm donor perm is processed and prepared in the lab to increase the chances of fertilization.
4.Fertilization: Eggs and sperm are combined in a petri dish and incubated overnight to allow fertilization. Single sperm is directly injected into an egg
5.Embryo Culture: Fertilized eggs (now embryos) are monitored for several days (usually 3-5 days) as they divide and grow. Embryologists select the healthiest embryos for transfer
6.Embryo Transfer: One or more embryos are transferred into the woman’s uterus using a thin catheter. This is usually done a few days after fertilization. Hormonal medications may be prescribed to support the uterine lining and implantation.
7.Pregnancy Test: About two weeks after the embryo transfer, a blood test is performed to determine if pregnancy has occurred.
