    What is RIRS Treatment ?

     It is a minimally invasive technique that involves no cuts, the ureteroscope is passed through the urinary tract(Urethra) to the kidney, Scope reaches kidney  to  locate the stones and then use a laser to fragments the stones to dust, then fragments can be removed with small baskets or allowed to pass naturally. Used for treating kidney stones that are too large or complex

    Double J stenting -Ureteral stent placed in the ureter Before or After surgery, Used in before surgery to dilate the  ureter to allow the scope to pass easily, After surgery Stent placed because of healing process
