    What is Surgical Abortion  Treatment ?

    There are different methods of surgical abortion, and the choice of method depends on the gestational age of the pregnancy, the patient’s health, and personal preferences.

    1. Aspiration (Suction Curettage or Vacuum Aspiration) Performed between 14 to 16 weeks, cervix is dilated suction device is inserted into the uterus to remove the pregnancy tissue, it  takes about 10-15 minutes.
